Welcome to the Information Website for the Drazen v. GoDaddy.com, LLC TCPA Settlement

IF YOU RECEIVED A PHONE CALL OR TEXT MESSAGE ON YOUR CELLULAR TELEPHONE FROM GODADDY BETWEEN NOVEMBER 4, 2014 AND DECEMBER 31, 2016, YOU MAY BE ENTITLED TO A MERCHANDISE CREDIT OR PAYMENT FROM A CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT

A settlement has been reached in class action lawsuits brought by Plaintiffs Susan Drazen, Jason Bennett, and John Herrick (“Plaintiffs”) against GoDaddy.com, LLC (“GoDaddy”). Plaintiffs allege that GoDaddy violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”), 47 U.S.C. § 227, by placing phone calls and sending text messages to cellular telephone numbers without the recipients’ consent.

GoDaddy denies Plaintiffs’ allegations, denies any wrongdoing whatsoever, and has not conceded the truth or validity of any of the claims against it. By entering into this Settlement, the parties seek to avoid the risks and costs associated with further litigation. The Court has not decided who is right.

The Settlement offers payments (in the form of either a merchandise voucher or cash) to Settlement Class Members who submit valid Claims.

Your legal rights are affected regardless of whether you act.

Your Legal Rights and Options in this Lawsuit
Submit a Claim Form
By October 7, 2020

If you are a member of the Settlement Class, you must submit a completed Claim Form to receive your choice of a Voucher Award or Cash Award.

Exclude Yourself
By August 31, 2020

You may exclude yourself from the Settlement. If you do so, you will receive no benefit from the Settlement, but you will not release any claims you may have against GoDaddy and the Released Parties (as that term is defined in the Settlement Agreement), and are free to pursue whatever legal rights you may have by pursuing your own lawsuit against the Released Parties at your own risk and expense.

Object to the Settlement
By August 31, 2020

If you are a Settlement Class Member (and do not exclude yourself from the Settlement Class), you can object to any part of the Settlement.

Do Nothing

If you are a Class Member and do not submit a valid Claim Form, you will still be bound by all orders and judgments of the Court. Unless you exclude yourself from the Settlement, you will not be able to file or continue a lawsuit against the Released Parties regarding any released claims.

These rights and options—and the deadlines to exercise them—are explained on this website.
